Soulwise Movement Medicine with Polly Triplat- We will explore embodiment through a dance practice of movement meditation. Immerse yourself in the music, open to the mystery. Allow the movement to be your medicine and guide you into connection with your BodyMindSpirit.
HealthRythms Drumming with Laurie Martin- Bring your drums and percussion instruments (drums also provided). AhMuse will facilitate a session of drumming from the inside out (around the fire or indoors?). We begin with tuning into our inner rhythms - our heartbeat, our breath, our circulation. Then let’s Shake It Up! Getting into the groove, the pulse. As we set our intention we break out into Rhythms, taking turns leading and sharing our OWN unique rhythms as we FEEL them. This is Rhythmacology, Empowerment Drumming!! We’ll do a guided visualization in Rhythm. And then…? Let’s drum into the night!!!
Move, Draw, Write, Share with Helma Mueller- We will use movement, drawing, creative writing and verbal sharing to explore the relationship between sensation, feeling and thought. Based on the Life Art Process® approach developed by dancer Anna Halprin and her daughter Daria, you will be guided to explore the relationship between your personal life experience and your art making. In the beautiful environment of Sierraville, you will gain insight and tools on how to live your life more creatively.
